Today Codemasters are offering Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising PC players some free downloadable content. Unfortunately, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will have to wait a bit longer for the chance to 'pay' for the download.

Skirmish, as it's called, features four new multiplayer maps and two new Fire Team Engagement missions, for solo and co-op play. The multiplayer maps include two Infiltration maps, Lumberyard and White Fang, and two Annihilation maps, Stomping Grounds and Force Dispel. The Fire Team Engagement missions are called All Round Defence and Uphill Struggle. If exploration is your thing, the entire island is now yours in Island Tour Mode.

Also available today, for all consoles, is a patch that will fix bugs and tweak certain aspects. A full list can be found at the official Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising website.

There's no release date for the console DLC, but it is set to cost you 400MP when it arrives.
